MISSION STATEMENT

At Wheaton North, it is a cheerleader’s duty to promote spirit and loyalty to their school.  Cheerleaders will encourage and inspire not only sports teams, but the entire student body and represent Wheaton North in a highly respectable manner.  Cheerleaders will encourage positive sportsmanship, fellowship, unity, and mutual relationships and respect amongst members.  Cheerleaders will be held to a high moral standard and will always perform and compete to the best of their abilities.  All cheerleaders will help build the pride and self-esteem of their teammates.  Our goal is to build a program that not only competes at the highest level but is highly regarded in the areas of sportsmanship and academics.



CORE VALUES

Within the Wheaton North Cheerleading program, we are always striving to S.T.E.P. into a champion minded culture.  S.T.E.P. stands for STANDARDS, TECHNIQUE, EXECUTION, and PERFORMANCE.  A very large part of our culture is our core values.   Our core values are the backbone of our program and what we rely on whether we are training at home or at practice, cheering at a game, or at a competition.  Our values guide us in everything we do and are hand selected by our athletes each summer.
